Well, last week I was invited to participate in a panel discussion on World Religions for World History classes at Lyons Township High School, in LaGrange, Illinois. The panel included representatives from Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism, and the Baha'i Faith. I am a member of the Baha'i Faith. One question I have about religion, a question that has always "bothered" me (primarily because it simply never seems to be openly addressed), is fundamentally a question of number: If there's only one God, a proposition that I recognize as true, then how can there be any more than one religion? And, if all religions are, in reality, parts of one common faith, then how can we begin to understand the relationships that must exist between all the Messengers of God? Anyway, here's a link to this discussion on world religions.... I'm curious, with your help, to start a discussion on these questions!!
